On-Site Scheduled Services

Having a PI engineer on-site to assist with any customer challenge can be a real asset. Our specialists can perform a range of services and are happy to support any request. The On-Site Scheduled Services are resources booked in advance and include but are not limited to:

One day on site of a PI engineer to set up, commission and optimise your new PI stage. Throughout the set-up process, the customer is invited to watch over and learn essential operating practices and about the PI software. If the customer requires more in-depth user training or the installation requires more days due to complexities, this can all be arranged.

On-site services, with a PI product or applications specialist. Their focus is completely flexible and can be tailored for any situation or application but might typically be spent on:

  • optimizing a customer’s PI stage after it is sited within its application, with its payload
  • investigating complex challenges or system issues
  • tuning and recalibration of a stage that has had a change in its environment

Preventative maintenance is the best way to look after a PI system. Having a PI expert to look at the essential lubricants of your stage and the general condition of its motor can be the difference between a wear-and-tear system failure and prolonging the life of the motion device.

At the customer site or at a PI office, training on PI’s software and systems is essential to maximising your investment. PI offers a series of training programs that cover a range of options, including:

  • class room training on PI’s operating software
  • one-to-one training on getting the most from your system
  • hands-on deep dive training with a product application specialist
