Pioneering design
High-performance ironless linear motors, heavy-duty recirculation ball bearings and non-contact linear encoder are used. Stress-relieved aluminum base for highest stability and high accuracy. Compared to the competition, the recirculating ball bearings of the V-D27 series offer a higher load capacity and allow higher dynamics. The high resolution of the encoder allows improved tracking performance.
Direct-drive linear motor
The ironless linear motor drives the stage without mechanical contact and cogging force, which leads to zero friction, zero backlash and excellent dynamic performance and bandwidth. The drives reach high velocities and accelerations. Ironless motors are particularly suitable for positioning tasks with the highest demands on precision because there is no undesirable interaction with the permanent magnets.
Highly accurate position measuring system
Noncontact optical encoders measure the position directly at the platform with the greatest accuracy.
